10:45 a.m. - Sunday Service: "Poetry Slam", Speakers: The Poets! What is a Poetry Slam? The poetry slam is a competition invented in the 1980s to draw attention to the art of performance poetry. Poets perform their poems, without props, costumes, or music. See the Rules for the details. Total prize money for our poetry slam is $150.

Sunday, February 2:
10:45 a.m. - Sunday Service: "Choosing Generosity when Scarcity Beckons", Speaker: Rev. Krista Taves. Many of us live with the metaphor that life is like a pie. If someone takes a piece, there is less for everyone else. We divide up power and resources based on this assumption. What if we changed our framework, choosing to see life more like a garden? When the produce is harvested and given away, it just leaves room for something new to grow.

Celtic Candlelight Dinner and Concert
6:00 p.m. - Appetizers - in our Heritage Room.
6:30 p.m. - Dinner - Celtic-inspired food by Candlelight.
8:00 p.m. - Celtic Concert - Steve Rees and Tony Blackbird on the flute, tin whistle, guitar, Irish bouzouki, bag pipes, and mandolin.
